Crogan Adventure Society Agents: Log in here for special exclusive content! (coming by 2014)
When I was a kid, I'd often read in the backs of old comics how one could send off to join the fan club, become a junior detective, or any number of other group-joining opportunities I'd have jumped at... IF the comics in question hadn't been forty years old, the organizations long since vanished. With that in mind, I wanted to make available to Crogan Adventures readers that same type of fraternal order, one which marked him or her as a special breed of reader, one with the inside scoop as to the production process behind the books, with a membership card to showcase his or her agent status, and some original art to hang on his or her wall. So I came up with...
Join the Crogan Adventure Society, and you will receive...
• An original inked-and-watercolored drawing of the Crogan character of your choice (4x6")
• A membership card with your name and C.A.S. agent number
• A newsletter which will include all manner of annotations, drawings, Crogan pinups by other artists, letters, and sneak-peeks at future Crogan Adventures projects, including pages and character designs, mailed directly to your home or P.O. box (note - these will be articles and notes NOT available on the blog or website)
• A "goodie" at each convention I attend at which you show your membership card - usually a print or an exclusive paper model or something
A one-time cost of $25 (twenty-five dollars) entitles you to lifetime membership, with no shipping costs or renewals. Get it for yourself, or as a unique gift to someone in your life whose love of reading or comics you want to indulge.
PLEASE include a note as to the Crogan character you'd like a drawing of AND the name you want on the membership card (i.e. if your name is "Francis," do you want "Francis" or "Frank?") in the "extra notes" section on the paypal checkout. Thanks!
Know that, as these are original drawings, and as I'm having to work them in between teaching and working on pages, it sometimes takes as long as three weeks or a month to get them out from when they're ordered. Thanks for your patience!
